King Peter attacks King Miraz's castle - but his motive is for himself.
Queen Susan keeps asking King Peter why he's doing this.
He never responds because he knows the answer.
Many of his soldiers die because their retreat is cut off.
King Peter looks back to see the gate close on his warriors.
He attacked for selfish motives.
In the end, it was King Peter who killed his people.
Selfish leadership results in death.
This reality hit me in the movie theatre.

Such a good observation! Wow, was that movie incredible. It was seriously one of the best I have ever seen. Every line was thought-provoking. I almost cried in the scene with Peter looking back to his men...
Hope you're well Dan! :)

Well said. Another one that hit me was when Lucy sees Aslan for the first time again, she comments that he is so much bigger.
He replies, "I am not (bigger). But every year you grow, you will find me bigger."
I love this quote because it applies directly to us and God. He Himself does not get bigger, but as we grow in Him we find how much bigger He becomes to us.

P.S. my score in the credits name game was 28.
It was a good movie. Liked it a lot.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. I'm glad you were able to make that kind of connection though!!
Hope your summer's going well (with all your planning and such)!
*hugs*
