Humility: True Greatness #8

Chapter 8

- "Identify evidences of grace in others."

- Pride is blinding!!!

- Shape a "divine perspective." Basically, focus on God's grace in your life as well as others' lives.

- "We motivate others by grace when we help them to see [that God is at work]."

- "When's the last time you specifically and sincerely informed your child of an evidence of grace that you've observed?"

:: I'm just going to take a second to thank MY parents for always specifically and sincerely sharing with me the evidences of grace they've seen in my life. They were and ARE incredible examples of humble parenting!!! ::

- "Would [people] tend to view you as just another fault-finder? Or do they know you as someone who actively calls attention to the evidences of God's gracious work in their lives and in the church?"

- "Let's emulate Paul's humble example and be preoccupied with the divine perspective that makes possible the deepest affection for OTHERS..."
